Before Clark was known as it is today, it was first known as Fort Stotsenburg - named in honor of a slain colonel. Installed during the 100 years of Clark (2003), in commemoration of the Cavalry and Filipinos who fought during the Phil- American War. It Is registered under Historic Structures by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines Markers in 2011.
